Project

French production company Bandits create remarkable films for commercials, music videos and viral advertising, and sought out En Ville to design a fitting identity. Rooted in the technical craft of filmmaking, the marque is inspired by old fashioned projectors and the contrast between light and darkness, featuring minimal, graphic typography that adapts to its environs.

In either bevelled, three-dimensional characters or linear forms, this modular device can be treated in different shades, or simply as a graphic ‘B’. Restrained yet impactful, it provides a contemporary frame through which Bandits’ highly visual work can be viewed.
